"Why
do I need a prescription when my plan says I don't need one?"
Answer: Unlike
any other type of specialist, insurance companies do not recognize
massage therapists as being able diagnose. Often the customer service
reps at your insurance company are not familiarwith this technicality,
but their billing departments are. Based on our extensive billing
experience, the Center requires prescriptions for ALL insurances
in order to guarantee your benefits will be paid as listed.
